scissors combFall is here and Winter is approaching.  Here are a few tips to prepare your hair for the Winter months.

1.  Keep your hair and scalp clean-   Shampoo with a Clarifing Shampoo & follow up with a Moisturizing Shampoo.  For African American (once a week) & Caucasian (everyday or every other day)

2. Hair Conditioning Treatments- Follow up with a Moisturing Conditioner.  Leave on for 20min.   Relaxers(plastic cap under dryer), Color Treated (plastic cap under dryer w/Color Treated Conditioner).

3. Ends Trimmed-  If you don’t follow this step, steps 1 & 2 are in vain.  Find a licensed professional that you can trust and allow him/her to trim your ends every 6 to 8 weeks.  This is crucial!

If you follow the above steps you are helping to prevent hair damage that can happen during winter months.
