Let's Lead
Yesterday my son was reading a book (I am a Lion) he picked from his schools library. He said, “Ma this book is about me!” He began to read, “Mom said I’m a Lion. I’m suppose to be a leader and not do what my friends do.”(not exact words but you get the point.) He said, “That’s what y’all tell me!” He was soooo excited!
My son is the type, he reads a book. You ask him what was it about and he’ll sum it up in one sentence. But let him watch a movie or play a video game and he’ll break it down line by line (not to mention he won’t shut up). Not only was he excited but I was happy about the fact that he was so engaged in the book.
That’s what we must teach our children. You are a leader, you are King of this jungle(world) and the last thing you want to do, is be like your friends when God has created you to be unique.
I’m so glad he he got it!
Proud Lioness

Quiskaeya, I’m glad he understood too. He was so serious about that book. Just hope we can find more that grab his interest.
That’s so Awesome! Hug him for me!
Amen! I just love how he got it! And yes he is a leader, no doubt about that. Great job Mama, because credit goes to good parenting for him to get it
