My Christmas Whisperer

One thing I love so much about children.  There ability to tell something when under pressure.  Or NOT!  Last year my hubby brought me a watch for Christmas.  He took secret agent James, with him( not a great idea).  When hubby was away, the mouse told it ALL!lol  He said, “Daddy brought you a watch (squeak, squeak).”

A watch was on my list but I had saw this real cute one at JCPenney.  It was waterproof, had a little bling & all the other girly stuff.  So me being the crafty woman that I am.  Had a little plan.  Me & hubby was in the bed & I happen to have the JCPenney catalog with me(how convenient).  Showed it to my husband and said, “see I’d like something like this.”  He looked at me in disgust and said, “He told you?  That little tattletale!”

The next day we were setting at the table eating dinner.  My daughter and I kept talking about watches.  Trying to make my son a little uncomfortable (we were cracking up).  Then my son says to my husband, “I think their on to us?”  My husband looks at him and shakes his head.

I confess I’ve never been one good at not taking a peek at my Christmas gifts but this one he saved me a sneak peek.  I gotta love him for that.
