Technical Tuesday
Technically she’s an athlete
Not technically
My oldest daughter is 15, plays basketball, volleyball, runs track and over night, she grew 2 extra inches. Which now makes her 6’3. Well, technically she’s not 6’3. Like I said before, give them an inch and they’ll take a mile.
Technically she’s an investment
Basketball season has come to an end. Last week she started playing Basketball with a traveling Basketball team. My husband and I both agree, this is an expensive a great investment in her future.
Technical advantages
She’s playing with 6 girls taller than her(that’s not the whole team), she gets extensive college level training, they pray together, they are told how good they are and they are also told when they’re playing like a High School-er (if that’s such a word).
Technicality
Back to the technicality. During practice they were given a choice to choose there height, within reason. She’s at the most 6’1 1/2. So, her choices were 6’1 to 6’3. She chose the latter.
So, you see technically, she’s not 6’3.

I’m glad she’s happy about her height. That’s rare for girls.
It is a good investment in her future…college scholarships! Woooo-whooo! It is good to be a tall girl (I am too…but not technically 6’3″, barely technically 6′)
