Shopping at AJWright

Last Wednesday I had the opportunity to shop at an AJWright store that was opening in the Chicago area.  The new store opened in Hillside, Illinois.  I was contact by @ashsands on Twitter and was given a $100.oo gift card to maximize my shopping experience.

I nearly missed the email from Ashley because I hadn’t configured my PR email account to my Blackberry (Duh!).  As soon as I found the message in my inbox, I quickly added the account to my Blackberry.  That’s what happens when you have splitcybernality

Any who.  In order to maximize the $100 gift card.  I needed a plan.  My plan was to buy each of my kids an outfit.  I arrived at AJWright and noticed very few cars in the parking lot.  OMGosh!  The store isn’t open to the public yet! ” This is gonna be sweet!”  I said to myself.

When I entered into the store the first thing I noticed were  the colors.  Lime green & some orange accent walls.  I was given a little goo-die bag with a calculator, note pad, ink pen & my $100 gift card ( the angels rejoice).  I was given a tour and off shopping I went.

The store was well organized.  The purses were color coded, the better to  pick them my dear.  The shoes were all sized up, the better to try on my dear.  And the house ware section was off the chain, the better to drive me freakin NUTS!

When I saw the houseware section, I nearly aborted my plan.  What kids?  I had to regroup.  I’d left my Mama Remote at home. So, no help there.

O.K back to my original plan.  When done shopping, everyone in my house had something.  Here’s my list:

Hubby – 1 button down, short sleeve, checkered green & blue top.

Me- 1 purse snakeskin with yellow trim, 1 pair of yellow wedge sandles (shh I’m the Mama)

Oldest daughter – 2 T -shirts ( designer style)

Son- 2 T-shirts, 1 button down short sleeve checkered red & blue shirt (like his fathers)

Baby Girl- 1 summer short set and walkie talkies

That’s not bad for a Mama that can loose control in the store.  Have you been to an AJWright?  Tell me of your experience.

Disclosure: I was given a $100 AJWright gift card to maximize & share my shopping experience.
