I won’t keep you in suspense. You all know that last Thursday was National Mom’s Nite Out. My oldest daughter was the babysitter and she assured me that she would be the best babysitter. I won’t deny she did a great job. Sooooo great that she didn’t have to rock my daughter to bed. She said that she went and climbed in bed and fell right to sleep. If you’ve read Season 1, you know why this is a big deal. If not, read it. Everything was fine and dandy until I made it home and check my Facebook page. Come to find out my daughter didn’t put a “pull up” on her sister. WHATTTTT!!!!!!!
My 2yr old is a picky eater. She doesn’t like any ketchup. barbecue sauce or any kind of Alfredo Sauce on her food. Yesterday I made fish, spaghetti and salad for dinner. Now, she loves spaghetti but her spaghetti touched her fish. Leaving spaghetti sauce on her fish. She showed it to me and I told her to lick it off. She says, “You lick it off!”
I hate laundry!!!!! I’ll wash it.. Putting it away is my problem. So as I type, I have a pile of clothes on a bed in my daughters room. Not very domestic, I know but at least it’s not in the laundry room and if they need something they can dig through the pile. My husband was sifting through the pile and yells, “I like how you have these clothes!” For one split second I thought he was serious. Hell, he can’t find it when I do put it up.
Hubby made breakfast for me Sunday morning. I almost got out the bed and made breakfast. Then, I thought about it…. It’s Mother’s Day! I’m going to lay right here and act like a Father for a day(lol ). He made Homemade Turkey sausage, grits, eggs, biscuits. On my grits I like: butter, sugar and pet milk(evaporated milk). My husband and oldest daughter like butter and salt. Ewwwwww. I’d love to know how you top your grits, rice or oatmeal.
And last….. I’m trying again to get off Frappuccino’s. This has been an ongoing struggle. Right now at Starbucks they have a Happy Hour special. From 3-5 you can get one for half price. UGH!!!!!!! I’m not going to tell you the rest of the story.
LOL, I need to hand this one to my mother to read.

Love the last one, need the folding one. My husband has asked me “where are my clothes?” Because I had actually put them away….once or twice.
And oh, I have to admit just butter on grits…Yum. But I love sugar and milk on cream of wheat. Now I’m all hungry and I want eggs too:)

@blueviolet, if they were as available as a diet coke, I’d surely be in trouble. The closed the Starbucks down the street so now I drive a little further at all hours of the night.
