I’m glad to hear it’s easy to navigate. I did change the template. I’m still in the process of completing it. So, we’re neighbors. I’m new to vlogging but its really cool. Wish I could do more.

This was wonderfully written. Your blog is so easy to navigate…did you change something?

The most important thing, your vlog makes me feel like we could be friends. I live near Milwaukee, so I don’t notice the Chicago accent people mention.

But you remind me of someone…I can’t think of who right now.

And storms, this is what I’ve read and loved, “sometimes we have to be in the storm to feel the strength of the anchor.”

Great analogy…I really needed this as we are beginning a bit of a storm over in our neck of the woods.

@Muthering Heights, that He does indeed. Knowing it is part of His plan helps me to endure. Although sometimes I can act like a big baby.

I think that God uses storms to draw us closer to Him…

Never thought about it that way using storms as a metaphor for learning but it makes a lot of sense.

It’s amazing how many times a lesson needs to be learned for it to really stick – I try to remember this with my kids – they actually learn a lot faster than I do!

@Tiffany, If I listed all the things that I didn’t learn from the first storm…….I’ll still be writing.

I know I should be prepared after you learn something once, but sometimes it takes 2 or 3 storms for me to finally learn a lesson. Nice post. And my sister was talking about how crappy it was there. Trees down everywhere. I heard there were lawn chairs landing in the street in the chair.

I guess the early storms teach us how to react to future storms, right? I love your analogy!
