Grrrr! Sorry about the growl. Hope you all had a Wonderful Holiday weekend. We had a lovely time until our neighbors continuously pop fire crackers and M 80′s. I enjoy our City fireworks and other beautiful display of the fireworks. However at what point do people begin to respect their neighbors and not pop those stupid things after a certain hour. This is the first year we’ve ever heard this much noise. Sounds to me like we have new neighbors in the hood and right now I’m tempted to pick up the phone and ask Police to do some noise control around here.
Did you see any fireworks over the holiday or were you the one making you neighbors cringe on the inside? LOL

I enjoy our city fireworks. I just wish the ametuers would stop. lol It’s over now. They’ve ran out of fireworks. Haha
Well….fireworks are illegal here and all the cities canceled fireworks displays due to budget cuts – go California! – it was weird not having a 4th with fireworks…kind of unAmerican!

We have a ton of fireworks around here, for various summer occasions. NOT my favorite!

this was the 1st year we didn’t go see fireworks because little bit is too young. thankfully there is a firecracker ban in our neighborhood that is righteously enforced so we slept peacefully.

This happens during the Chinese New Year over here at the other side of the pond. Pity the babies and dogs. They totally freak out.
Have a nice day!

I admit we were making noise. It is sort of a tradition in our neighborhood that everyone looks forward to. Would seem strange without it
we did actually sneak into the country club and watch their show. it was pretty cool…when we lived in FL we have neighbors that were up doing them until 2 AM…craziness…

We were still hearing them past midnight, which means the dog was shuddering next to me the whole time.

I feel your pain! Our dog is deathly afraid of the noise and freaks out. Three hours of it is just too much! Why don’t people have any common sense and courtesy?

@Ms. Anthropy, That’s exactly what they are. Smh
Didn’t watch any, but heard our two local displays. Then got to listen to the lawbreakers in the neighborhood.
