Why do I need my ends trimmed?

Why do I need my ends trimmed? Is a question I hear often from clients. In the beginning of my career I’d shy away from the question. I’d say, “we can do it next time.”  The truth be told. There might not be a next time!

Isn’t that a bit extreme? No! Not at all. What a difference a hair trim will make.

When hair begins to split, It will continue to split like frayed fabric or even like a run in your pantyhose (isn’t that an ugly sight). The solution is: Trim off the hair that’s splitting up your hair shaft. This stops further splitting as well as giving your hair a healthy look.

How often should you have your ends trimmed?  Every 6 to 8 weeks or when your having a chemical service done.

How often have you had your ends trimmed or hair cut and noticed any of the following:

1. Hair appears fuller & has more body

2. Appears Healthy

3. Manageable

If, done at the proper time you may possibly notice all of the above after receiving a hair trim.  Hope you find this helpful. The next time your stylist ask to trim your ends, you’ll split at the seams with delight. :-)

Hair trimming is a MUST!!~ I had mine done recently and all my beautiful, natural shine has come back to life! I make sure my daughters get trimmed about ever 4-6 weeks since they use heat tools. I wish I could do it but I manage to butcher them! haha poor me :)

I admit, I don’t get it trimmed every 6-8 weeks, but I am getting much better about. I used to go only once a year! Now my daughter trims it for me.
