Season Ends In A Disappointing 3rd Place :-/

Many may say, “how can you be disappointed when you made it downstate?”  When your team loses to the same team 3 years in a row, there’s a problem.  Last year we can honestly say that the opposing team was stronger and had a greater skill set.  This year…..a team with only one senior and the rest underclassmen…not to mention you have a 11 point lead with less than 2 minutes on the clock and you lose.

Another poor coaching strategy, my daughter was taken out the game the second year in a row!!!!  Last year the same thing happened.  He took her out the game and didn’t put her back in.  This year, he put her in and took her out repeatedly.  Total BS!  I honestly think he was paid off, someone has something on him or he had money on the game.  The past 2 years my daughter’s presence on the court has been the key to her team getting downstate.  If, she didn’t play during the super sectional games, they would not have made it down state!  She played in every single game except for when she was out with a concussion and when she was out, her team lost 2 games.  How and why would you play a player every game & when it really counts and they want to be a key component in you winning, you sit them out?!

Whenever our daughter has been treated unjustly we try to focus on what she’s suppose to learn from the situation.  I believe the only way to grow in life is to learn from every possible situation.  However, this may take us a while to understand.  We’re thankful that she has a bright future ahead and now she can prepare for college.  And Coach can go down in history as the worst coach ever by not being able to get a first place after going downstate 3 years in a row :-/!  And another thing! I told my daughter don’t take another cookie and any award ceremony you will not attend!  Yep, I said it!

  7. If he’s been playing her all season, but then mysteriously doesn’t during the finals, that would send warning bells off in my head too!
