Today Me, Mini Me & The Male Bonders went to the movie to see Brave & Amazing Spider Man. The fellas watched Spider Man while my daughter and I went to check out Brave. Not sure if many of you know how much of a talker my daughter is, but she did pretty good during the movie. With the exception of, the ordinary, “What did they do that for, what’s going to happen now……” and so on and so on.
I wanted to check out the movie last week before my oldest daughter left and after seeing it today, I really wish I had made it a girls night out. The message the movie conveyed of a mother and daughter, could either be life changing or confirm the relationship. Brave is definitely a must see for a mom and her daughter.
After the movie we were able to enjoy the outdoors without sweating. The temp today was in the 80′s and the breeze was soooo refreshing. We let the kids play in the pool for a bit and we ordered Chinese Food because I wasn’t in the mood to cook. I was even able to catch some ‘me time’ when everyone went inside. I stayed out on the patio and embraced the silence. I can use 1 hour of silence everyday!

So glad you guys finally got a break from the heat. IL was hit HARD last week! I probably won’t see Brave, but I’ll go see Spiderman.

what a nice outing for the kids. I am sending hubby and the daughter to see Brave. I know it’s a girly movie, but they need some bonding time. I can’t wait to see Spider-Man! Glad your tems are back to normal
