We can all use some boldness in our life, but sometimes the shock factor can be a bit much. So, here are 3 ways to add that WOW to your life.
1. Weave: if you thought weave was just to add length, think again! Decide on a color that you will like to try and take it to your stylist. If you’re a crafty one do it yourself with clip- on extensions. There are numerous colors to choose from.
2. Highlites: I suggest highlites to my clients when they’re lacking the confidence of trying a color as well as, if they’ve never tried color before.
3. Peek-a-boo: adding color in an area that it appears subtle, but with a change of a parting or hairstyle, you achieve the Wow factor. This is another way to avoid a lot of upkeep and maintenance.
For instance…adding a bold red to the nape area coupled with a layered cut will give you maximum flexibility.
–its noticeable when styled.
–adds contrast when styled in an up-do for date night or a girl’s night out.
–less maintenance- since new growth isn’t directly seen, it’s easier to maintain for a college student or anyone on a budget.
Hope these 3 tips can help you achieve a courageous look without the shock factor.
