Last week I shared with you a project my husband was finishing up to welcome our new puppy home. Well it’s been sand down to the natural wood, restained with a walnut finish and accessories added.

The next photo is comparison of the original color and the new.

I originally wanted to buy a dog pillow, but after talking to a few dog owners I decided to pick up some pillows or shams from the Goodwill just in case our dog liked to chew on things.
I found a denim lounger cover for $3.99. The shape wasn’t the shape I need, but after stuffing it with pillows and tucking it where needed no one will ever know.
I also found 2 sets of matching pillows that worked together for $1.49 each. They also flowed with the main colors throughout my house.

After doing all this work and bringing the puppy home…I thought…he probably will never lay here. That also was my reason for placing so many pillows. Because he’s so little,

but to our surprise after putting a pillow on the floor in front of it so he can hop on and off, this might be his little spot. Especially since he can’t hop on any other furniture. HA!
Confession: after eyeing those pillows for so long. I took them and put them on my couch. I told you the colors flowed and now he has this.
Ha! Looks just as good to me

Aww! Your pup is your new baby isn’t he? I know the feeling.
