Marriage & The Family: Homebound

My oldest daughter came home today from summer school and NewYork had to sniff out her bookbag. This morning I received a phone call from the airline letting me know my daughter’s flight was cancelled and that it had been rescheduled to another flight. When I txt her the news… It went something like this.

Me: your flight was cancelled. (I waited before texting her the rescheduled info)

Daughter: you funny. LOL

Me:you’ll see when you get there.

Daughter: are you serious?

Me: welcome to the flying world.

Thankfully she was able to get an earlier flight instead of the one they rescheduled for her. I made tacos and rice today for dinner and she maxed it! “What you cooking tomorrow?” Is what she said after licking the spoon.

Today was the first time she met NewYork and she loves him too.

Now time for all the girl talk and getting caught up with the college happenings.
