The Children’s Place Back To School Fashion

I received an invite to attend The Children’s Place Back To School Fashion Event last Friday and to do some shopping on them. I remember going to The Children’s Place when I was a child and have shopped there from time to time for my kids. So, with Mini Me in tow…..

We headed to the HIP (Harlem Irving Plaza) to indulge in some retail therapy.

We had $100.00 to spend and I’m all about getting the most for my dollar even if it is on the house. With a 4 yr old attempting to pick up everything that glitters this can be a bit of a challenge, but with a little compromise we came out with some cute staple pieces.

With so many children wearing uniforms to school, The Children’s Place took that into consideration when creating this year’s school fashion. With fashionable bling and glitter, The Children’s Place has taken blah to glimmer and boredom to buff.

The sequin jersey cardigan worn with a navy skirt and white shirt adds just enough sparkle to your child’s uniform.

Let’s not forget about shoes.

The crystal bow ballet flats would top off your child’s uniform. We didn’t forget about shoes either. Never could we forget about shoes. Here are the two pair my daughter picked out.

You see that purse she threw in the mix. I told you everything that sparkled received her attention.  Unfortunatley, Jala won’t be starting school this year 🙁  BOOOOOO!!!  Her birthday is after the cut off day so we have another year with her being home.  The Children’s Place sizes go up to a 14 XL and my son has outgrown that size.  With that being said, I took this opportunity to get some more shirts to add to my daughter’s wardrobe along with a couple pair of shoes.

Have you completed your child/ren back to school shopping and if so, what staple pieces did you or they add this year to their wardrobe?
