IT’S MONDAY, MOMMIES!!!! I felt no guilt waking up this beauty. As a matter of fact I wish I had a bull horn. Not really.
I’m really good with making sure I wake the kids up pleasantly. Unless, they wanna take me there and believe me… I can go there. ;-/
I learned with my oldest that if I woke her up…
“Morning, beautiful.” She’d wake up on the right side of the bed. If I came in the room with aggression…. the wrong side of the bed it was.
Of course there are exceptions. Someone has to try me **cough middle child cough** However, to my pleasant surprise, he’s beating me hitting the floor in the morning. I’m sure a new school (Junior High) and riding the school bus has a lot to do with it.
Update on my workout
I got up and out this morning to do my 30 minute workout. It was awesome and I felt as though I accomplished more because I had no time to lose. Got in 15 minutes of cardio and the last 15 was arm workout. Liz from A Nut In A Nutshell, commented on my post yesterday and said that 30 minutes was do-able. It really helped me see 30 minutes in a new light. Before I started going to the fitness center I would workout 30 minutes at home.
For some strange reason getting it over with early in the morning works better for me. Otherwise, nothing will happen. Absolutely nothing. I’ve tried working out after dropping my son off at school and it would feel like a chore. Wish I was good at mixing it up a bit.
Back to waking kids up. What was the best way to get your kids up in the morning? Was there a different way you had to approach each child?
