Verizon Wireless Hotspot Saved The Weekend #VWVoices #Mom

Verizon Wireless Mom Voices Disclosure

“A Family That Hotspots Together, Stays Together. ”

A couple weekends ago we were having issues with our home internet service.  If you’ve ever had problems with your Internet,  with kids…..in the summer….

Kid 1:MA!!!!!! WHAT’S WRONG WITH THE INTERNET??????

Kid 2:Ma!!!!!! The internets not working!!!!!

Kid 3:Maaaaaaa! MAAAAAAA!!!!!

HOT SPOT, take me away!!!!!

This is when being a Verizon Wireless Voices Ambassador comes in handy!  When receiving my Samsung Galaxy Tab, I also received unlimited Hotspot.  When the Internet debacle occurred, I activated my Hotspot and after activating (turning it on) everyone was able to connect their devices.

The Hotspot connection was fast and we were able to enjoy our weekend without further interruption. Our Internet was out the entire weekend and we had a total of 5 devices connected. Verizon Wireless Hotspot definitely saved our weekend.

I’m a Verizon Moms Voices Ambassador! – Help me guess the device I’ll review

Verizon Wireless Mom Voices Disclosure

I’m excited to announce that for the next 6 months I’ll have the opportunity to test a device/s from Verizon and give my opinion. With maintaining a family, business, blog and many other multifacets of my life, having adequate devices help things run smoothly. I’m sure we can all agree to that.

Seeing as though I’m anxious, I would like you to help me take a guess on which device we’ll receive.  I’m playing the guessing game here and would be shocked if it’s any one of these out of the 3.  After you’ve seen my selections I’ll tell you which one is my #1 guess.

1. DROID DNA

Droid DNA (photo credit: Verizon Wireless) The right smartphone doesn’t just assimilate into your life; it greatly enhances it. The aptly named Droid DNA by HTC was designed to expand your human potential, and it has the features to pull it off, including a quad–core processor, 4G LTE, Google Now, Beats Audio™, NFC, wireless charging, and a design that's sleek.

DRUMROLL ………………………

My guess is #3 I’ll admit that I have a slight vengeful mom bias to my choice.  You can ask if it has anything to do with my #teamiphone blogger friends trying to convince me to crossover to the other side and taunt me as they do.  Let’s just say #3 will be sweet revenge 😉

Wednesday is the kickoff and the suspense on which device I’ll be testing is driving me nuts! I’ll be sure to post as soon as I unbox my device.  If you want to stay up to date follow me on Instagram ( #VZWVoices & #MOM) as I post numerous updates on there daily. Of course I’ll update here, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook too.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3: Panic attacks & therapy for my soul

Verizon Wireless Mom Voices Disclosure

Panic Attack
Just imagine my face the other day when I’m trying to upload a picture to Instagram and I see this screen.

image
My first initial reaction was to panic, then I got a hold of myself, turned off the phone and removed the battery. After putting the battery back in and turning on the phone, the problem was resolved. Woop! Woop!

Around Me
Last week I went to Indiana the next state over, which is literally a hop, skip and a jump from me. Had a little time to waste and needed to know what was around me…..

image

I installed the around me app and was able to see what was in the nearby area. Found a nice consignment shop and went to see what they had in store. I’ve used this app before on other phones and I usually install it as needed in order to not take up too much space on my phone.

Over Indulging

When I say over indulging… I mean overdosing. I’ve been overdosing on Pinterest. Searching vintage cookware pins, vintage pyrex, corningware and everything else that my grandmother couldn’t pay me to take of hers a year ago.

image

image

See my little modest vintage cookware collection. If anyone asks what will I do with all of that? I’ll reply, “the same thing you do with more than 1 pair of shoes in your closet!” Guess I told them!

Lately everything I see associated with my childhood, my grandmother or mom’s cooking utensils, has so much sentimental value. All the memories flood my mind…and I can’t help reminisce.

One thing I did receive from my grandmother a few years was an afghan from her mother and we’re not sure if she made it or if it was given to her. My great grandmother passed in 1979 and that was when my grandmother inherited the afghan.
image

Now, I have this treasure and it’s possibly older than me or as old as me. Well, I search Pinterest looking for similar patterns hoping to get some history. Nothing yet, but I have seen similar colors. As well as, searching the vintage cookware. I have boards for it.

That’s the FUN I’ve been having with my Samsung Galaxy Note 3 lately. Actually I think it would be considered more of a therapy for my soul. Do you use your smartphone to research?
