Where did our summer go?

What happenend? Last night I forgot to pull my car in the garage. So, this morning I had to turn on my heat to warm up the inside. My car was wet as if it had been rained on.

Labor Day is next week and it’s my turn to host our family get together. With the way the weather is behaving we’ll all be indoors. The last holiday to barbeque outside (comfortably that is).

With all that being said, it’s time to plant those fall bulbs so, we can enjoy beautiful blooms in Spring. To all you gardening Mamas! Let’s not let things get out of control and do our shopping and preparing now.

While your getting that garden ready let’s not forget to do our fall decorating. Nothing says “fall is here”, like a great entry presentation. So let’s not whine, moan & cry. Let’s embrace the weather change and have fun while doing it.

School, School, School

Whew! The first full week of school for all my kids. Check out my drop off schedule. Drop off my baby to daycare, my daughter to highschool, and my son off to middle school. That’s what you get when you have your kids 6yrs apart. Anyhoo, it’s School, School, School to get back on track again.

My son says he lost his breath we he went into his class. A liitle girl he’s had a crush on since pre- school, is in his class. So, this is gonna be a crushing year.

My big girl has already had her first Volleyball game. They lost. I’ve never seen a child so happy after losing a game. Her only issue is, she hates the spandex shorts. This won’t be a short year.

My baby girl didn’t get a summer vacation. Well, she’s in daycare, no summer break there. Luckily for me. She won’t be getting a break this year.

In the morning i’ll be singing again. School, School, School! For the rest of the year.

Declutter!

We’re spending this weekend decluttering. OMG! We’ve accumilated so much crap! I think back to when we first moved in our house and we heard an echo. We don’t have a basement but, we have a crawlspace. My husband hides our crap in there.

This decluttering mission all started because I was cleaning the closet under the stairs. The closet started off being my craft room that I rarely use. Now, my reason for cleaning under the stairs? I want a dog. Saying it, is tripping me out. I have a 2yr old daughter, you would think that’s enough? No. I have this urge to get a dog. I’m a little stuck up, so, my dog has to have it’s own room. So under the stairs he will go. Yeh, he! Once I heard girl dogs have a period! That help me decide on the sex of the dog. So, he will have his own room under the stairs.

When i’m done decorating his room I’ll bring him home. I’ve always said, “I don’t want any pets. A fish is good enough!” Now Mrs. A Fish Is Good Enough, wants a dog. Go figure?

So when we’re done getting some order in this house we’ll bring our new addition home. Yeh!

Technically nuts!

Ok. I have a confession to make. I’m technically nuts. I love facebook, myspace, social networking and blogging. I love my Palm treo, laptops and anything else that will technically make my life easier. It’s so funny because I’m always up late at night on the web. When my husband comes in the room, i’m falling asleep at my laptop. He yells at me turn it off! I’ll say, no! I’m woke! I’m woke! Leave me alone!

He’s technically nuts too. Anything electronic he’s gonna get it. He brought my daughter a new IPod the other day. She’s technically nuts too. Barely wiping the sleep out of her eye, she came down stairs this morning with it in her hand. I said, “I see you have a third hand?” All she could do was laugh.

Now, what will make my technical life much easier? Picture this: A Franklin Covey Planner that i’m able to cynch with my laptop & Palm Treo. The reason for me having a planner is because I like to see my different events visually. I’m a visual person. So, if you see one please let me know.

Hey I know we’re not the only family thats technically nuts. What about your family?

Aveeno Baby prt 3

It’s been a whole week of testing the Aveeno products on my little one. After seven days of use, I have a new product to use on my baby. The cream wash is great. I like the consistency of the cream wash and the clean smell. Now there isn’t alot of lather but that’s not a concern of mine. I really consider it safe. I don’t want her slipping out of my hands. As for the lotion, after the third day I noticed more moisture on her skin. I did continue to use her medication prescribed by our doctor for her eczema. I only put it on those areas only. I have a confession. I’ve been using the lotion on myself too. On a scale of 1-10, I give it a 8. Thanks Aveeno. You’ve made me and my baby happy.
