WOMAN CHASES HUSBAND DOWN HIGHWAY.

How sweet it is to have a Saturday to myself. The kids are with my mother. I’m enjoying it! Now, we almost had a crisis. I told my husband two days ago, that I was going to need him to drop the kids off to my moms Saturday morning. I had a reason for putting him on notice. If I tell him the night before he goes into this long drawn out story about how it’ll set his work schedule off. So, that was my reason for the warning. We woke up this morning, he gets ready. I get the kids ready. While I’m holding my baby he gives us a kiss goodbye. Huh? I say, “did you forget you have to drop them off?” Dah(look on his face). There was no way he was leaving out the door without all his kids. Couldn’t help but think what would happen if he left out without given me my kiss. You would’ve seen news headlines “WOMAN CHASES HUSBAND DOWN HIGHWAY”.

We managed to dodge that crisis. So, now i’m going to continue enjoying my day.

What’s with the shorts?

Oh my goodness!  Does anybody have anything else to do?  I’m talking about the shorts.  Michelle Obamas shorts!  The First Lady wore some shorts and it has gotten national attention.  Polls have been posted about it.  It was on tv.  Look at me, I’m blogging about it.

Here’s my thoughts.  I don’t care!(jumping  up and down like my 2yr old.)  I don’t care! I don’t care!  But Hey, if they want to waste time on the matter?   I will too.

Under Construction

All over our city, there’s road work being done.  When ever I see the sign, “Road Work Ahead”, I start trying to think of a way out.   It seems like every time I make a detour, I end up lost or nowhere fast.  Just a couple weeks ago I landed myself in Indiana!  I didnt make it home until 9:45 that night.  When I should have made it by 7.  Ugh!

Going through these journeys I’ve come to a realization.  In some life situations we must be patient.  There are times we need to learn a lesson on becoming better moms, wives or a better us.  Trying to take the easy road can lead us to a dead end.

When our life is under construction we have to stop making detours.  This helps us to face challenges head on.  It may take a little longer to get to the destination but it helps to minimize frustration and dissapointment.  The great thing about construction is…. When it’s complete there’s a smooth road ahead.

Now I use the extra time in traffic to enjoy some music or listen to my favorite audio book.

Aveeno Baby prt 2

Ok, it’s been 3 days using the Aveeno Baby products. I’m loving the cream wash. As far as the lotion it’s going alright. I still have to use her medication given by our family doctor. I used the lotion on myself this morning and my skin looks and feels great.

Don’t call me, I’ll txt u.

We’ve all heard it before.  Don’t call me, I’ll call you.  Well with texting the new phenomenon in this text age.  We’re saying, “Don’t call me, I’ll txt u.”  We’re rarely talking to one another due to our texting addiction. You know what I think?  I think we’re really saying, “I really don’t want to talk to you, so I’ll txt u.”

The problem I have with this is, people won’t text back.  There’s no excuse in the freakn world that you couldn’t possibly text me back!  Texting is so simple that you can text on a potty break, lunch break, 15 minute break ,give me, a freakn break!  It’s so easy. K or ttyl is easy as 1,2,3.

While I’m getting this off my chest.  “LOL”.  Which means laugh out loud.  Should not follow a sarcastic remark.  Let me give you an example.  Those red pointy shoes u wore 2day were cute lol.  Who’s laughing out loud?  You!   Not me, cause I don’t think its funny!  I’ll give you something to laugh about!  I would rather that you really not won’t to talk to me let alone text me.  So,  as we continue to text in this text age, let’s practice some common texcourtesy. K?
