A few weeks ago I decided to start using Twitter more often. I’ve been pretty happy with the results. One of the reasons I didn’t use it much is because I wouldn’t get responses from my tweets. Even when I’d use the @ symbol. However I’ve found a few Twitter Peeps that do communicate so, that makes it worth Tweeting. Some fellow Bloggy Friends , Liz is hosting a Blog Boycott Day. Every 2nd Friday of the month we will be Tweeting instead of cruising the Blogosphere. Link up with us. It’s going to be FUN!!!!!!Join us here!!!! @helpmamaremote – NicoleNicole is a wife, mother of 3, CEO & hairstylist living in Suburban Illinois.
Hey Everybody! Today I’m linking up with Liz at A Belle, A Bean & A Chicago Dog, for her Dear You Guys comment love letter. A few weeks ago she did a post with only the comments from her readers. It was a big hit! I thought it was so cute. Here is my comment love letter to all of you. I took the comments from my last weeks The Style Network category & comments from another post. Since, today is the day I usually post hair topics. All of the comments are yours & nothing to do with me. Make sure you head over to Liz & read her other love comments & link up! Dear You Hair Guys, Hair trimming is a MUST!!~ I had mine done recently and all my beautiful, natural shine has come back to life! I make sure my daughters get trimmed about ever 4-6 weeks since they use heat tools. I wish I could do it but I manage to butcher them! haha poor me. Honestly, how hard is it to say. Hey, you look fabulous! Oh my goodness…how RUDE! I really should have my ends trimmed more often…lately, it seems that I [...]

I was thinking of all the things I used to do….then I thought…I wonder what did my bloggy friends do before they started blogging? I know some of you have been blogging for many years, so, maybe you can’t remember what you did. In that case what did you use when you first began blogging? I’m sure this cyber journal has changed a lot since you’ve started. Tell me. Inquiring minds would like to know. In my case I’ve done a little of this and a little of that. In terms of social networking, I used MySpace before FaceBook. I attempted to write a few blogs on MySpace and created a group or two. However, I think I may have spent a little more time watching TV. Now, my DVR has only a few episodes recorded that I watch. It’s been consumed by Dora, Go Diego GO and any other toddler show that my daughter can wrap her attention around. So tell me, if you weren’t blogging now. What would you be doing? NicoleNicole is a wife, mother of 3, CEO & hairstylist living in Suburban Illinois.
It’s the day before National Mom’s Nite Out and I’m overdue for some “Me Time”. I had the opportunity to work with Kris Cain from Little Tech Girl along with Sharon Patrice,Ronni Roseman & >Sidney Reid. Kris, organized and coordinate Chi Town Mom’s Nite Out. Make sure you check out all of their sites. I hope you all have found a location in your area. If not, be sure to follow Mom’s Nite Out on Twitter . You don’t have to miss the party even if you’re not there. That’s the wonderful thing about CyberSpace. I have one question for all of you Moms with smaller children. Do you ever find yourself needing some “Me Time” before the “Me Time”? Sometimes after I’ve either put my daughter to bed, taking her to Grandmas house or any other things that I have to do before leaving. Huh? (sigh) After doing all that I’m tired. Wouldn’t it be nice to not have to deal with any of that, before your “Me Time”? Well I wish you luck! If you get that time ahead of spending time being a grown up? Let me know.
Mom Of The Perpetually Grounded tagged me on 10 Happy Things meme. I’ve been seeing this word “meme” around the Blogosphere and I’m going to admit something. I don’t know what it means. So if you know what “meme” means, can you help a sistah out? Any who! 10 Things that make me HAPPY! 1.My family. Especially when we’re all healthy. My baby girl is not feeling well. 2.A cup of hot coffee, sitting in my robe and on the computer. Who needs TV, when you have these things. When I’m not on the computer I do have some favorite TV shows & I love romantic movies. 3.My phone. It was a Palm Treo but we recently broke up and now I have another man in my life. Mr Black. Getting to know all the wonderful things about him is really a pleasure (wink). I must admit after a two year relationship with Tre, I do miss him sometimes. 4.My lap top. Need I say more. 5.My clients. I’m a hairstylist and taking care of my clients hair is always a joy. Not to mention being able to talk to other women really helps. 6. All the funny things my [...]
