In the kitchen with Jala adding a twist to Banana Pudding and making Pokepudding (the kids helped me name it)Using the standard vanilla pudding and wafers to make the banana pudding. I added a twist by using marshmallows, oreo cookies and red velvet chips ahoy to give the banana pudding the Pokeball look.
Looking for a treat for the weekend or an any day treat? Try these S’more Waffle Cones. Easy to make and avoid the mess.
My son asked for ingredients for some S’mores the other day and I went out and bought the normal ingredients. When they were all gone, my daughter requested some more. However, this time I picked up some shortbread cookies instead of graham crackers.
Striped Shortbread Cookies
We made these delicious treats in minutes and I’m now hooked on using shortbread cookies for S’mores instead of the original graham crackers. One thing we had to do that you may not have to do depending on the size of marshmallows you buy. We had to cut ours because they were too large. Let’s get to these quick easy steps.
First, take your marshmallows and place them on skewers and roast them on a medium heat.
Next place the roasted marshmallow on the shortbread cookie, place the Hershey’s chocolate (we used 2 rectangle pieces for each s’more) on top of marshmallow and place the last shortbread cookie on top.
Lastly, enjoy these goodies with your kids, family or friends.
As many of you know… I’m not a baker. The most I bake are cookies, muffins….you get me.
Well, lately I’ve been wanting dessert after dinner. At least once a week or every other week. Yesterday I remembered that I had some cinnamon rolls (in a can) in the fridge and we had some vanilla icecream.
I popped open the can, placed them on a oiled cookie sheet and cooked according to instructions on can.
After they were finished cooking, I used the frosting provided to coat the top of the cinnamon rolls.
Next, I placed a cinnamon roll at the bottom of each coffee mug. I’m sure this would do great in other glasses too.and for many occasions. Another thing…you can wait for the rolls to cool or serve hot. If served hot like I served them add more icecream because your icecream will melt faster.
Then, take your icecream (I used vanilla) and spoon in 3-4 scoops or 5 😉
Lastly, take another cinnamon roll and place on top.
Delicious!!!!! 1 can of cinnamon rolls will make enough for 4 people.
Have you ever ate something and thought about how good it would taste with something else? Well, that’s exactly how I came up with this dessert. Since I’ve been couponing, I’ve had the chance to taste products that I probably never would have taste if, I didn’t have a coupon. While eating a package of Belvita Breakfast Biscuits, I thought about how some Activia would have complimented the treat. So, this is what I came up with.
Warning: I have no clue how many calories are in this glass of deliciousness! So, eat at your own risk.
Cheesecake (if you prefer a special brand go for it)
Blueberries & Belvita breakfast biscuits (blueberry)
Choose the perfect glass for the occasion. You’re going to begin to layer your ingredients and depending on your favorites feel free to overload accordingly. (ex. You may prefer more yogurt over cheesecake or vice versa)
Step One:Cut cheesecake in small squares so that the squares will fit in bottom of cup and place them in bottom of cup.
Step Two: Take your Belvita breakfast biscuits and crush them while they’re still in the closed package. Then take biscuit crumbs and sprinkle them over cheesecake and fill in any gaps (approx. 1- 2 tbl spoons).
Step Three: Next layer Activia (2 tbl spoons).
Step Four: Then toss in about 4-5 blueberries (if you’re a lover of blueberries add a few more).
Repeat steps 2 – 4
After you have repeated the steps….take 3 small pieces of cheesecake to place on top, along with a few sprinkles of biscuit crumbs. Allow to chill in the fridge for 45 min. to 1 hr and serve.
