Blog Boycott Day #1#

A couple weeks ago I decided to start using Twitter more often. I’ve been pretty happy with the results. One of the reasons I didn’t use it much is because I wouldn’t get responses from my tweets. Even when I’d use the @ symbol. However I’ve found a few Twitter Peeps that do communicate so, tat makes it worth Tweeting.

A some fellow Bloggy Friends , Liz is hosting a Blog Boycott Day. Every 2nd Friday of the month we will be Tweeting instead of cruising the Blogosphere. Link up with us. It’s going to be FUN!!!!!!Join us here!!!!

WTFlashback did you do before you began blogging?

I was thinking of all the things I used to do….then I thought…I wonder what did my bloggy friends do before they started blogging?  I know some of you have been blogging for many years, so, maybe you can’t remember what you did.  In that case what did you use when you first began blogging?  I’m sure this cyber journal has changed a lot since you’ve started.  Tell me.  Inquiring minds would like to know.

In my case I’ve done a little of this and a little of that.  In terms of social networking, I used MySpace before FaceBook.  I attempted to write a few blogs on MySpace and created a group or two.  However, I think I may have spent a little more time watching TV.  Now, my DVR has only a few episodes recorded that I watch.  It’s been consumed by Dora, Go Diego GO and any other toddler show that my daughter can wrap her attention around.

So tell me, if you weren’t blogging now.  What would you be doing?

Technical Difficulties

Technical Tuesday

O.K. I think most of my blogging difficulties are coming to an end. So, I hope. Along with some other things that having been going on in my life will be ending as well.

My blogging difficulty was a plug- in that I, plugged in. I kept getting this stupid warning sign. Heck! I didn’t know what to do. So, I started reading the warning. DUH! In the warning it said, FBmeme and a lot of other things. So I began to deactivate those plug-ins and the warning sign went away.

I can’t help but think about my life.   I start plugging things in here and there.  Not knowing if they are really going to work.  If I really look at the warning signs, I would notice that I’m running into some technical difficulties.  Not only do I  have to look at the signs but, I have to read them!  Maybe at this time in my life,  the pug-in may not be suitable for the situation.

Unplug it! Deactivate it!  It’s O.K.  I know some friends may have seen some weird stuff going on.  The problem arises, when we see the warning signs & refuse to unplug from the situation.

Have you had any difficulties with your blog/life and didn’t know what to do? How did you fix the problem?

WTFlashback {When I first started blogging}

If  you’ve seen my home page I’m sure you’re wondering, what’s going on?  No pics………………  At first nothing was there at all.  So I’ll be taking this weekend to clear up the technical difficulties.

Now, I’m sitting here thinking, {does this mean I should change my layout?}  Hummmmm.  You never know.  All I need is an opportunity to move some furniture around.  So, make sure you keep your eyes open.  You might trip, if you expect things to be in a specific spot (like my husband).

Today I won’t be able to participate in Friday Follow.  My google badge disappeared.

WTFlashback for today is {drum roll}……………………………………

Think about when you first started blogging.  Describe the look of your blog.  Was it clean? Empty? Minimal amount of furniture?  You know how it is when we first move into a house?

1.My blog color was brown.

2.I had no header

3.Affiliate ads on the right side

4.No comments.  No one here to visit me

I’m glad you came to visit me.  So, go ahead don’t insult your hostess.  Leave a comment and tell me about your blog
