Organization Project of the Week: Kitchen Island- Pots & Pans Zone 2

Since I’m caught up on posting my Organization Project of the Week… I’ll do a weekly posting letting you know the upcoming project if you want to work along with me.  This week I cleaned in Zone 2- my kitchen and dining room.  The project I wanted to work on was my kitchen island.  I began by removing everything off the island and thinking what did I want to do with this space? How will it be helpful in the kitchen?

I decided to use the island to only house my pots and pans and the canisters here that I have on the top.

Below…on the right side I have my largest LeCrueset pot and below it are my sauce pans and cutting boards.

on the left… are  stainless steel bowls and below them are my cast iron skillets.

The other side of the island is also exposed.  On the left is my LeCrueset stock pot and below another stock pot.

Now all of my pots and pans are in one location and readily accessible. How do you store your pots and pans and if you have a kitchen island how do you organize it?  Thanks for stopping by.
