YouTube Collaboration: Craft Room Organization Project (Video)

This past week I shared a Collaboration video hosted by Juani at Juani’s House on my YouTube Channel. This collaboration is sharing our Summer Room/Project Reveal. So glad Juani invited me to this collab because it was what I needed to get my craft room organized. Later I’ll do a more detailed video of the different areas and organization. Check out the links of all the other wonderful ladies participating in this collaboration.

The Cooking Channel: How to make a Cornbread Bowl (Video)

Does your family love cornbread or bread with their meal? My husband loves bread! Love is actually an understatement.
how to make a cornbread bowl

A few weeks ago I came up with an idea to use my vintage pyrex to create cornbread bowls. Usually, I’ll find bread at the grocery store and make bread bowls when we’re having any kind of soup or chili. However, this time I came up with this idea and wasn’t sure how it was going to work at first, but it was a success.

End of Spring Garden Tour 2015 (Video)

Summer is soon approaching and I wanted to take you for the last Spring Garden Tour of 2015.  We’ve been getting plenty of rain and cool days.  It’s finally warming up during the day and cooler nights.  This has made it easy for our cold weather crops to take off well.  The lettuce, Swiss chard and greens look amazing.

I’ve had to make sure I incorporate a lot of salads, lettuce wraps, greens and Swiss chard in our meals.  Sunday I made a Swiss Chard Tartar Sauce and today I made Spaghetti Squash with a Turkey & Swiss Chard Sauce.  Creating new recipes with vegetables from the garden is so fun to do.  Oftentimes, we get so stuck with making the same meals over and over again.  However, to make eating and food enjoyable for our families we have to allow our creative juice to flow.

While taping this Spring Tour video I couldn’t help, but laugh at myself not being able to identify some of the plants.  Then I thought, that’s why they create plant identification tags, right.  There’s nothing wrong with not knowing the type of plant you’ve planted when it’s in it’s before producing fruit state and of course there are those that we can identify with our eyes closed.

Here’s our End of Spring Garden Tour 2015 embedded below.  Thanks in advance for watching.
